My Life with Nail Varnish/Polish

I have painted my nails daily since I was sixteen. As I was not allowed to wear more than nude colours to school, although I did occasionally rebel out on a red or purple nail every now and then.
So, four years of continuos painting my nails, Yikes! and I despise the drying time as no matter what the nail polish promises. I will always achieve a smudge or a funny pattern on at least one of them half hour later. (As I'm a known freezer, I swear my nails are the warmest part on me!). So lets think of this if I paint my nails twice a week (more like 4 times on a busy week) thats 10 mins per time of sat dead still (very difficult for impatient me!) that's 20 mins a week. Calculate that in a year thats 960 minutes. SH#T!!!. 16 HOURS A YEAR! Taken on painting my nails + drying time at a minimum. But hey! they are so pretty, that justifies it right?

My favourite colour to paint my nails has to be a dark metallic blood red by far. Slowly creeping up is a soft metallic purple.

What's my favourite nail varnish?

* For soft girly princess with a hint of mischievous me is definatly Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in 16 Royal Invite

* Girly glitter perfect for the party is Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in 18 Private I

* Naughtily nice with a hint of Lust is Bourjois 1 seconde texture gel in metallic red

Love Nail Varnish or hate it, let me know!

Oops. June Primark Haul (I have a good excuse honest!)

So as the title suggests, I went to Primark again! Yikes.
Yes I am slightly scared I'm addicted as when I tried on several outfits the other day I realised most the items worn in them were from Primark.
Now even though Primark is getting better in quality (and the price does show this) They're not quite the best for keeping in good condition after a few washes. So I am determined after this haul to try and branch out to more high-street stores. (so far so good, make sure you look out for my next haul)
But it's me, I seem to love going to Primark once a month so I can't promise you wont see a cheeky one next month!.

Hey, if you watched that long one up there, thanks so much! it means a lot to me it really does.
(I practically do a little happy dance on the sofa every time I see a few more views or replies)

But that's not all I also did my first EVER vlog on the brand new Cardiff Primark store, trust me it's gorgeous and so stylish (secretly I love it's design and features way more than any other high-street store I've visited). It's not the best I will admit, I was so nervous! and a scardey cat but if you give me a comment saying you would like to see a better view I shall brave it and do better next time.

Thank you again Lovelies

Rock Pools in Summer Shades

 Rock Pools in Summer Shades
05.07.14

I had so much fun with these pictures, it was actually warm enough for me to wear a dress for a change without having my un-wanted friend of hedgehog legs popping up (Yey!).
The scenery was so beautiful and the lighting very helpful to us, Curtis also managed to get some bird in flying motion pictures (which he's very happy with).
Next step was editing, now me and Photoshop have a love hate relationship. I think, I love it (when it works) and Photoshop hates me so decides to play up. It was a tough decision what to do with these photographs to keep them original or to desaturate them (gray-scale). So I came up with the best of both I loved how the desaturation made my skin softer and the overall image softer but hated losing the vivid colour of the sea and rock pools. There the idea to merge the two together was born and I personally think it worked rather well?

Do you agree? What do you think of these Photo's?
Please let me know in the comments
