Katy Perry Killer Queen Vs Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonderstruck

For Christmas I had the Very much wanted Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume. I have a building collection of perfumes, mainly for the bottle designs. Bad I know but I love designs on perfume bottles they are so individual and let the imagination wonder to the scents inside and I also believe they help create a mood for your day. Read on to see what I mean.

Look at the boxes, gosh! I can not decide which one I love the most. The Taylor Swift is petite and has a gorgeous gold swirl patten. The Katy Perry is huge! (which adds points in my opinion) the box is litrally engraved if you look carefully at the picture you can see small gold lines criss-crossing each other well these lines are engraved in the cardboard box and lead to little gold crowns (GORGEOUS!!)
Look at the logo the golden swirls are engraved outwards so as you litrally touch this box it's like a touch-feely box filled with wonder.
Now I love Swirled Vintage Script Font so this box holds many wonders for me and both perfumes are Red my favourite colour.

Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonderstruck - This is a very sweet fruity scent, I have the first wonderstruck perfume from the Taylor Swift collection and I love that one dearly, but this one is definatly creeping up to beating it.
If you look closely the bottle is very much like the first one just different colour, it has silver flecks of glitter and the gold lid has the same engravements on as the first one.
This is the reason the box is so big, my mum kindly payed the extra and bought me the 100ml just to see my surprised, happy face. So as the bottle had no flat edge to sit happily in the box and as it looks so fragile (uh-hum Perfect!!) it had to have a plastic casing to stop it moving around the box.
The scent of this is a different, difficult one do not get me wrong it does not dissapoint at all, it just has a magical scent that you just can not put your finger on (well I can not).
It sort of is a sweet fruity scent with a hint of 'woody' and white floral.
The lid definatly goes all out, it has a design like a crown with the katy perry logo on top and the collar has 'Killer Queen' engraved. (Is it just me or is everything engraved and I just love it)
The gradient on this perfectly shaped bottle is gorgeous from clear to deep blood red.
Your right I think this one is the clear winner out of the two.
(but shhh.. don't tell my partner as he bought me the Taylor Swift)

Reindeer Nails for christmas

How very festive and cute? Well that's my thought. I seen these rather cute but cheeky reindeer nail art stickers on sale for a £1 in a pound shop.
So I saved them up for Christmas and used my festive new red nail varnish.
Steps I used:
* Buffed my nails with the blunt side of the nail file.
* I used Revlon 320 Graceful as a underbase coat (it's a nude/ light lilac colour)
* Layer of Kate Spade New York Glamour Big Apple Red by Nails Inc
* Second Layer of Big Apple Red
* Once dry added two reindeer nail stickers to each hand
( I may have broke a few whilst trying to peel them off)
* A top coat of Pink Tease Clear Top coat

In light they look more glazed than the matt look the camera has given them in that photo

Have you decorated your nails for the festive Holiday?

November Favourites

November Favourites.
Well anyone else think November was just one blur, not even a massive one?
I did nothing in particular last month but it was a good month and only better to come <3

My Beautiful Glittery Golden heels. Definitely a favourite, they were bought for my work's Christmas party. The woman I work with in the same office mentioned to me the women like to wear something glittery. (My first work's party) As soon as she said that I really wanted Golden glittery shoes exactly like this. I searched the Internet for hours driving my partner insane and walked around shops picking up similar and always putting them back finding a flaw in them. I found these gorgeous ones in the local Newlook for £24.99.
I knew the little gems would fall off easily especially as I have a stone gravelled drive way and it was the only way out the apartment to the car but the ones now missing are not too noticeable at all.
Also typically I was the only one to wear something glittery.
But everyone said I looked good in my black pencil skirt and gold flecked loose floaty tank top.
The women even planned to nick my shoes by the end of the night but went off the idea after realising I was only a tiny size 4.
When ever I go out and it's not too cold, I wear this all the time. Mostly paired with a jumper or thick cardigan and snood. If you have read one of my previous blog's you would know the story behind this bargain find. I am not unhappy with it at all now even if it was a second choice.
As mentioned above I wear this snood everywhere, to work, shopping even in the car. It is so soft and such a subtle pink colour it goes with anything. I love this snood as it is totally adjustable to the length or how I want it to hang around my neck.
Also this little fella is mentioned in one of my previous blog's. He is my New best-est teddy bear ( well alien named Stitch from Lilo & stitch) which keeps me company in bed when I am ill and fancy a cuddle but can not cuddle up to my partner because he is like a overheated radiator on times.
So even though I do applaude myself on my Diy Bracelet holder (empty spray can) it's not the actual stand but all the little bracelets. The top three of the stack are my new-est ones and most worn throughout November, still am if I am honest. I go through fazes where I wear 2-4 bracelets constantly everyday and then one day I just wont again for awhile but then wear them once and I am hooked again and go looking for a new bundle to add to my collection.
V05 Plump it up and Volume Boost. Were on offer and I most likely would of never of bought them if they were not 2 for £5 but I did. The volume boost is a gel which is like a hair spray as it comes out like spray and has a super hold exactly like hair spray (but a really good brand) it smells absolutely gorgeous of kiwi fruit or even a fruit salad it also does not leave any stickiness or dry patches in my hair and if I spray into my roots it defiantly gives good volume. "shh.. Don't tell anyone but even my partner used it once as his hair was being UN-tamable even with his best brand out there gel for men and he said it worked much better than his even on just one spurt".
The Plump it up moose would be good for curls if your like plating your hair or putting in with curlers but I used on already created waves to hopefully give a more textured messy look and it mostly just left dry stuck patches in my hair. Okay so you may say maybe I did not dispense it out evenly enough but I bought this for a quick help in my half hour time to dress mornings. So I expected a bit more.

M.U.A lipstick I have used this everyday for work or going shopping, it has a very satin smooth texture, applies so easily, smells and tastes good. It also has attractive packaging in my eyes as I love the fact you can unwind the little colour swatch at the bottom and vala you still have more lipstick left.
I usually stick to and idolise my Baptise Blonde Dry shampoo but I bought this in a cheap shop for a trial run and I love it. It smells good, does the job and even looks good on my shelf so a thumbs up from me.
The brand is Schwarzkopf by the way.

Link me to your November Favourites I like to have a nose too, So I can see any goodies to pick up that might become my next month's favourites.

Winter Primark Haul

I am Ever So So Happy with this Primark haul.
Thankfully for the first time I actually spent less than half hour in Primark and picked up a big selection, mostly all sale items.
I will tell you my secret, I did not want to buy anything I did not really need or want that time, some of the isle's I could not even be bothered to go up as too crowded or I just knew what would be there and secondandly my Partner was on a mission with picking up all tops that were size 6-8 and flashing them up to me as I looked at one top and I would nod or not or say hmm I want a 'denim jacket, but not like that one' and bam it would be there infront of me On Sale too!!!

Primark does Perfume?!? Yes are you as shocked as I was I thought Wow, bound to be a horrible scent or last a mili-second. But niether my partner said well lets just try so he sprayed one with two little spurts on my scarf it was a very sweet and inviting scent. We left, after a whole week of wearing my scarf and still smelling it every now and then in a breeze I thought next time I go I have to get some. It was the last one of the scent I wanted so I snatched it up and run off to my alice cave with it. Aha.
£8
What girl hasn't got a pair of Supercosy tights that has watched Primark haul youtube videos?. I am yet to find one So I bought another pair! Amazing Quality and SuperSuperSuperCosy!
£3.50
My partner found this for me and last summer I was hunting high and low for the perfect light washed denim jacket under a tenner. I failed then this came along for £5. Who could resist? So I am putting this away for next summer.
I thought this cheque, little black tie shirt was super cute and baggy but shaperly for those casual days where you just can not be bothered but still do not want to turn up in lounge wear.

This was a £1, advertised as £2 so I bought it, it is light weight and a light pink with little white bobbles as if been worn alot but in a suppose to be there way. So when I checked my reciept and found out it was a £1 I was pleasently surprised.
I love the colour (it is more burgandy the camera flash made it appear more cherry red and opaque) and the long sleeves!. Give me a fitted long sleeve top and its mine!
Fitted cheque and denim shirt with turn up sleeves
£5
I have fallen in love with this dress at £5 and Lace!!!! I am in Love it is very me and exactly what I wanted. With little brown belt and cute flower design. It's all mine Mwhahaha
I needed a new pair of black "workman" boots as I scuffed my pair from Newlook terribly when my dog got off the lead after the vets, running towards a busy road and towards the sanddunes 'apparently' I full on rugby tackled my poor dog to the floor to catch him.
£18
Red Cherry Skirt Exactly what I needed for this christmas season and what I have been after. Found in H&M okay so it's not all Primark I am sorry but look!!!! it's a cherry red A-line flirty skirt for £7.99
Bodycon skirt I love, So £2 for a simple grey cotton one I can pair with practically anything Why not?
Also from H&M. (Sorry. >.< )

£3 for 3 Books!

Who else can not believe it?. £3 for 3 books, that's £1 per book....
So starting off is the the book in the middle, It has a very attention grabbing front cover. Once flicking through you find out it is a book of drawings full of captions relating to 'marriage'.
The book is called 'Putting a ring on it' by Jarlath Regan.
This book is such a great read, I practically showed my partner (shoved under his nose more like) every page of this book. I found this funny book in Poundland, would you believe it me niether.
The next two I walked into a local charity shop to try and find a pretty brooch to give to my gran I unfortunatly did not find one but stumbled upon these books, I love a good read also I had no idea how much they were but were willing to take them as I did want to see the film 'The Host' but decided not too in the end and was told the book was much better than the film.
'Barry Trotter and the Shameless Parody' by Michael Gerber. I had seen advertised before and as I was a harry potter lover once upon a time (Don't get me wrong I still love a good read of the books and watching the films) I was intrigued but never branched out to get it. After finding it and flicking through it I couldn't help but get it. Especially as the character in there had the same name as my partner.
So I know when my week holiday from work comes up or I fancy a cosy night I am going to be snuggled up in my dressing gown on the sofa with a book and a hot choc. Who can blame me there will also be Christmas Decorations all around me!

New homely deco's and My little animal friends

The three glass wear, was bought on sale in a shop that I had no idea would have such good gem's in there or I would of definatly been in there sooner and shall be soon enough again. From the left is a light puple/lilac criss cross jewelry holder, lilac bird topper container and a charm 'Love' wording container.
Also the very pretty and much sought after cage behind was on sale too, I have been after a cream coloured cage for ages but they were all too expensive for my liking. Then this was infront of me and how could I resist.
Now Meet my two new friends to my Lounge collection, slowly I am filling up our Lounge with little creatures and fairytale things. So far I have a wooden mushroom, material fox and these two little fellows. Oddly they are all christmas trimmings with their string cut-off.
It's easy to say the Lounge is My room and my favourite room of the entire apartment.
