July 2013 Favourites

As you can see I have been a little busy re-visting my Photoshop skills, Which I actually
took a course and recieved a Diploma in, yeah looking at that above I think I need to practice more.
agree?.
So this is a electronic 'pin board' of my July Favourites and yes I do know July ain't over yet!.
But it is the last day and I wanted to do this whilst everything I have been obsessed over was still fresh in my mind.
So let's start anti-clockwise. First we have the terrible editing of my Maxfactor Lipfinity Lasting Lip tint, I have pretty used this up dry. I use it on night's out as a base coat, so once all my lipstick has worn off on glasses I still have a nice red tint. Then on day's where I want to look more subtle but too scared-y cat to go bare I put this on as it sinks in nicely giving me a light natural effect.
Then my ton of hair clips/ bobby pins, I am also addicted just to saying the word 'bobby pins' it's an odd american word and I'm odd for admitting this... right.... back to the subject They are great for fly-away hair or when I just want to pin one or two sections back to frame my face.
Taylor Swift perfume, I have to admit I got offered this for Christmas and I litrally screwed my nose up at it when tested it in a boots store once, So I turned the offer down, But I love! Love LOVE! perfume bottle designs, So when I saw a smaller version of the bottle (minus the little charm it comes with :{ ) for £10 I could not resist and bought it. Now I am addicted to the scent, It has definatly grown on me or scented me really. aha!
Notebooks, I drive my family and other half Nuts with my constant writing ideas, plans, bill working outs, things I want to get, things I want to do. Then more than half the time I loose the little papers I wrote them on and have to write more, then when I do finally collect them all together I just shove them in an already crammed full notebook. Trust me when I want to write in the actual notebook, trying to open it without them all falling out everywhere embarrassing me is Hell.
Beaded bracelets, I went on a mission in the city to find wooden beaded bracelets and to my satisfaction I found a pack of 7wooden beads with two material ones thrown in for good measure at Primark for £2.50. I thought 'bloody' bargain but then doubted seen as Primark items would they last long, But I wear the wooden ones everyday (minus a huge blue one with a peace sign) and non have broken. Actually scratch that One did break! because my idiot of a best friend snapped it.
Dispicable me!... welll I could just go on about this film and these cute minions foreverr.... I love animated films, especially funny animated films it is what I went to do that Diploma course for. But Dear little fishes those minions drive me loopy (almost as loopy as Galaxy chocolate does) and I am very tempted to stick two decal stickers of two little minion heads in the back windows of my new car... but would they look too tacky?
Lastly these cheap little faux rose drop diamond earrings, they are the only cheap earrings that have yet to make my ears go green and I have worn them a lot this month, since finding the one that was hiding in an odd place. They are tiny enough not to look too in 'your face' but not small enough to be plain studs which is why I like them.

Thanks for reading and putting up with my lame practice Photshoping

Everything in the image, was edited and photographed by Charlotte Thomas using her own bought items.

Match Perfection Review

To be honest I just love both Rimmel foundation products I have bought, but this one tops the lot in my opinion. I bought mine in 'match perfection light porcelain 010'
The coverage is very light which I personally perfer it is very good at hiding red patches and for light spots just put two layers over.
As for the 'traceless coverage' it claims it is very traceless 'IF' you have a spotless clean foundation brush and blend, blend, blend till the cows come home. But it does not have a orange line like most foundations I have previously used.
The Packaging I love the little glass bottles they come in, just feels sturdy and presentable. The pump is so easy to use and I have to say though, the texture or thickness of the foundation when it actually comes out the pump is really runny. So beware, I also pump onto the back of my hand first and it starts to run everywhere if I slightly tilt my hand.
So overall I would buy this product again.

My life & Me... Disapointment & boredum

So for the past few weeks I have been very looking forward to going out to town again (food & Drink), the next time with the full intention of staying out longer (Ha! past 10:30) and visiting the music lounge again this time without taking my other half's advice and ending up first time ever drunk on a stupid Extreme Bomb he bought me.
WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!?!?
So I have passed my driving test this week, only spent two days in work and have another four days off again, thinking I would not be tired at all now and was in the mood to go also being excited about being able to drive. We went to town last night, but there is a huge but!. It has been summer the past 3 weeks and boiling so I came to the conclusion also help from my mother (damn! knew should not of listened to her) that if I wear dresses in winter I am going to look like an idiot wearing jeans at this time of year. But Guess what?! I was freezing! I feel the cold at the slightest breeze, everywhere had air-con on, doors open and I was stuck wearing a tight-tight nude dress, absolutly killing my feet tiny cork heels. wooo the joy's of being ME!

I Passed !!!!

So Yes, I Passed my driving test first time, quite possibly I had a very easy straight forward route but only cause to start I think she tried catching me out but I was not letting that happen!
So I passed within half hour with only 2 minors, I was so shocked and proud of myself that all I said when the lady instructor said "well you've passed" I being me!, expertley said.... "oh".
Now just to struggle to find suitable insurance for my car or downsize to a 2 door car, anyone know of any UK good ones? please help?

1 Day to Test Day

It's safe to say, I am slowly beginning to be nervous!. My stomach feels like an empty washing machine, Spinning and Spinning.
My Driving test is Tommorow! I passed the Theory easy, But this one I think the case of the nerves will get the better of me.
Is using a plastic plate as a faux driving wheel on the sofa to practise manoeuvre techniques a bit too much and mad?. Ah well tough
I have a play list to make tonight, to calm me down yet build my confidence up to create.
To play in those two hours before the driving guy comes to pick me up. Any ideas on music with a bit of edge and va-va-voom?
Ahhhhhhhh............

Is it OK to freak out Now!?

Summer Statement Pieces?

Statement Pieces In the Heat?
I love this Necklace, the soft blue tones remind me of the sea, mermaids
and Summer!. The little stones, silver wire and criss crossing wires add texture and
a unique feel. To me everything about it Screams beach.
I plan to wear this little statement piece with a plain tee and little shorts complete
with natural waved hair for the whole beach girl look.

What's your Beach statement piece? or even summer statement piece?

Make-up + temperature Change = Disaster! - So Defeat it with....

Has your make-up gone off or not so nice in the heat?
My foundation and concelor melted and barely stayed on for long so I dug out an old metal makeup suitcase. These can be bought widely at different sizes and prices to fit your budget.
The metal okay does not lock out all heat and temperature changes (because the cold can affect your make-up too) but it's better than a wooden or plastic draw right? Also then they can be used for easy carry cases if going away, no need to try and cram everything into your go away make up bag, just pick it up and your all ready to go.

P.S : Tip if your one for taking make-up everywhere with you and you know temperature does change throughout the day, then try and have a back up set because going from hot to cold or either way, is not good. So try and have a set of everything kept in the same place in your storage and then a little travel set or a cheaper version you can take with you to top your makeup with throughtout the day!
( I suggested cheaper or travel because it does not break the bank or leave you totally upset if your make-up gets affected plus its often smaller and easier to carry that way)

Cute Creations in the Garden

New afro hair for a broken owl solar light made out of a a pile of moss found in the garden, Cute huh?
My Fish ornamanet is sat on an upside down plastic plant pot in the middle of my miniture pond.

Search in a shed for shed some old paint pots and painted my wheel to go back on the fence

My plastic Greenhouse and a gorgeous red tree and decroative lamp to try hide the ugly recycle bin section.

It's a gorgeous sunny day in South Wales and I know the beach will be already packed and no where to go, So decided to Get creative and try to dress and arrange the garden. With my afro styled Owl solar lamp ( I just think he's the cutest), singing hiding fish (reminds me of a scene from the little mermaid) and my full of life plants I think my Garden looks colourful and with a hint of Girly in it this year.

Got a Garden your proud of or even just added a Creative feature, Send me a link or a picture

''Cork'' up the Height with £5 Cork heels

Big Blue Killer deal on these Blue Lovelabel Cork heeled heels, for just £5!!! reduced plenty of times but managers special of £5. I could not believe my luck I wanted cheap heels for a quiet night out and valala, the biggest decision I had was this colour or bright orange, I did want orange but they were all a bit tarnished with glue stains or such but I love these blue they will go with so much.
Only one problem they are so steep that you litrally walk on your toes but who can complain for £5 when were £44.
