Part 1 Company Bloggers Style The Hight Street

So today I am going to split my London trip into 2 parts.
Part 1 (This one) will be on the main reason I visited London
Part 2 (Up soon!) will be on what I did after the BSHS and photographs of London

Let's Go:

I was already subscribed to Company magazine and frequently visited their online website. I had already noticed the bshs advertisement the first time they printed it in the magazine and decided I really wanted to go. (plus what a great excuse to visit london & meet people)
So I took to twitter and tweeted would anyone be interested going to the event with me.
It got quite a few favourites but only one lovely girl seemed pretty keen Charlotte over on Countrified Londoner. We chatted over twitter for a few months and got to know each other a little bit then the time came for me to spend over 3 hours on a bus and venture onto the tube (with two huge suitcases and a backpack) to find my hotel and meet Charlotte after work.

We met not far from tobacco dock and opted to not arrive early or on time so went for a little drink in a small pub. We got to the event and I think we both realised that mightn't of worked out in our favour because other than a handful of other girls we were last in the very long line.

We got inside and handed over our tickets where we got given a pink wrist band to prove we were over 18 for the free cocktails and wine. The tiny party room was jam packed we grabbed a drink dodging the line of indecisive girls and went for a wander. There was stalls for eyebrows, glitter makeup, nails, hair, impulse photo booths and probably much more I'm leaving out.

We queued for a bit in the eyebrow line so Charlotte could get hers done, unfortunately as we turned up late there wasn't enough time till we got called for the fashion show. Which was kind of a saviour as my feet were beginning to hurt from the long walks in the day.
Up the stairs we went and into a very beautifully decorated hall, everyone exclaimed how they didn't expect it to look like this. I think we all expected the usual lines of chairs but this was so cute and quite personal. We got seated almost at the very front and little did I know that we were actually behind the table of bloggers who styled the models. Eek! (I hope they didn't hear me & charlotte dis two of the outfits) I managed to video quite a lot of the fashion show mainly because they were walking so fast my camera would just not pick them up without blurring like they were a vampire running in twilight!.

We all enjoyed the nibbles, well mostly the others as there was meat and sardines on the plate. I am a fussy veggie (in other words I am a sucker for the occasional McD's and do eat chicken on a pizza) but everything being in a rather unflattering pinkish/blue light I didn't fancy trying anything I couldn't actually see. (such a wimp I know!).

There was 5 other lovely ladies on our table, I was kinda afraid I would be the youngest but nope the girls ranged from 17-21 like me. Phew, I didn't really get to speak much as they all looked stunningly confident and talked about The only way is Essex, something I really am not familiar with.
I very much enjoyed watching my first fashion show and I liked the laid back style to it, wasn't particularly keen on the cheesy dancing but hey that's just not my thing.

Did I mention gorgeous Nina Nesbitt opened the show with two of her songs? She has such a pretty voice and hearing one of the songs I have listened to a lot, heard live was exciting and felt like such a treat.

I was hoping to stay awhile and meet a few people in the party but we didn't get to stay long so we took a few fun photos at the Company board and headed towards the Impulse photo booth. It was a very long time waiting for the photo booth but I love our little fun photos (even with me looking like a flaming sheep, I really look like I fitted in with the land of the welsh sheep don't I!).

That was that really for the fashion show,
Please scroll through the pictures below and let me know what was your favourite outfit?

I shall see you soon in Part 2 of London.
