Shopping Trip & A/W 13 Primark Haul

An impulse Shopping trip? Uhh YES Please!!
So Parking up at the train station we hopped on to a Very busy train to Cardiff City.
We stood for the whole journey, My man very kindly holding me against him so I stay still as the one day I chose to wear wedged heeled boots we end up standing on a very bouncy train shoulder to shoulder to people.

The two indoor shopping centre's were more busy than imaginable, two of my favourite shops I had to give up on browsing in. The que's were very long and trying to get past people with a big primark bag was far from fun. But all the same I enjoyed the day and only came back with One shopping bag from One shop BUT!
Was a very big full bag for a reasonable amount of £56.55.

So what did I get?!
  • Tall Brown quilted Riding boots
  • The sort after navy short woolly cardigan
  • Coral knitted snood
  • 9 pairs of pretty studs
  • The much talked about Cosy tights
  • Black full length stretch leggins
  • Bow Belt
  • Slippers (Present for my mum)
  • Dark Indigo Jeggins
Want to take a look? Here's some photographs
 £4
 £22
 £7
 £3.50
 £2
 £3.50
 £1.50
(the ones missing are small butterflies, sorry I was wearing these)
 £3
 £10

We really did not spend a long time in the City at all, My man finished work at 11a.m. I picked him up, took him home so he could get changed and off down the station we went.
Seen as was almost lunch time we had already both eaten a bit either at break time or me, my cereal's for Brekkie.
 ♡
We went shopping for a bit, Games shops, gadget shops, Topshop, Primark and Superdrug.
I had got hungry during Primark so we made our way to the nearest McDonald's but it was packed, que was very long and no seats.
 ♡
Off we went for a long trek then to the other McD's near the train station. After Sharing a table and me getting ketchup on my expensive loved Lipsy Trench coat typical.
All because it was on top of my primark bag on the floor and I did not want to tempt fate of someone getting a foot print on it. I placed it on my lap and damn it happened the ketchup Fell! Noooo...
 ♡
Back for another look around the shops, not tempted by anything on in the cinema I went into Newlook, looking for a pleather jacket and fell in love with a soft pleather waterfall effect one for £39.
But none my size in black! I was gutted and even online they do not have my size.
 ♡
A quiter train ride home, we laptop'd a bit then I drove us to get a chinese to settle in for a night infront of tv for saturday night Tele.
Was a very good Day/Night and So worth the impulse decision and the horrible standing train ride!

Love youuus

I go in a shop for 2 items and come out with 2 very different items!!! Sale

This is what I end up getting when I go into a clothes shop! Never the things I actually went in there for.. So I went in for a pair of tall rain proof boots or a thick cardi/ blazer.
& not even a pair of boots in sight, I have in my defence been fancying this top for weeks but it was £28 down to £10 cause was a discount shop. I went in that day and found only one left for £3!!!!!
SO Had to have it!!!!
Oh and it's Vero Moda brand an all, I don't own any of their clothing line apart from this beauty but maybe I might start looking
Ready for a day at the office now, I paired this with mid black suede heels and a black cardi

This was an impulse buy, it was so light, cute and girly. Plus I LOVE Lace, Some would say lace mad!
It was only afterwards in the car driving home that I realised it was the perfect thing to pair with the new faux leather jeans I had been actually struggling to search for a matching top to go with.
I had in mind a plain white tee that was long enough to cover the ruffles on the hip area of the trousers and slightly low cut so I could wear on a night out.
Vala! this add's the touch of girly and the edgy-ness I have paired together when matching them together and this was only £6. What a find!

Have you got any good bargain finds latly? Send me a link I love to 'window' shop too.

Love youusss

Feeling a bit cat-ty????

Want to try a causal/ less dramatic cat eye look, then it's as easy as 1..2..3
Look....
1. Prime your eyes or use a nude eyeshadow (perhaps a little glitter to make it girly)
2. Draw a line as close to your lashes using eyeliner (either will do, pencil will  create more of a smudged look) but only draw the line half way in the middle of your eyelid and draw it out to a flick at the corner of your eye. Do this to the bottom of your lashes on the water line
3. Add lashings of your favourite lengthening volume mascara
And your done!! See easy as one, two, three.
Have fun
Love youssss

New Beauty Buys, Needed Buys all bought from Asda, All on Sale!!

New Beauty Buys, But Needed Buys all bought from Asda, All on Sale!!
So two weeks ago I went to my local town and knew I needed new Heat protectant but after searching I found that the one I previously used 'Tresemme Keratin Smooth heat protectant' was much higher in price than when I purchased it a few months ago. So browsing in Asda I saw This helpful bottle tucked in the middle with a sale on, of now '£1.25' I had to get.
Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Protectant honestly my opinion is, it really ain't as good as the Keratin, it does not smell as nice, it does not keep fly-away's at bay and my hair feels like straw. But it does what it says on the bottle (well I think) it protects my hair from my straightners. So for just over a pound how can I complain really (okay, yeah I still will and am)

Next I suffered from slight spots on my back, but after months of suffering they disapeared, then re-appeared on my shoulders >.>
Walking around Asda's after my food shopping with my partner I turned in the Asda toilets and noticed the reason why my spots were suddenly really hurting was that they were bright red and practically had neon signs on them, so desperate to ease the pain I went downstairs and scoured through the aisle's of spot treatments but they all either were for the face or not what I wanted. I practically gave up with many sigh's then my partner asked what was I after so he said alright one minute and came back with (the little bottle on the right). It was from the Asda range and on sale of 98p, so I was not complaining Curtis explained I needed a moisturiser to soothe the already there spots because scrubs do not work on already appeared spots they just help prevent them being there.
Fair play for an Under a pound product, it worked wonders my skin felt relaxed and soothed just as he said, after 2 applications the red-ness went down. Happily I re-applied for the last two day and even though they have not disapeared they are much, much better.
So what is this wonderous cheap product?
It is... Protect Moisturiser - Dual Action from the Adsa range
Oh and did I mention it smells good too??, it makes you believe it's working from the soothing tingly smell that you can still slightly smell if I rub my shoulder by my face

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Moisturiser
I previously bought a different version of the same 7 day moisturiser and I loved it, it was £2 smelled amazing and even though felt a bit greasy when first applying or in your hands, honestly once you have rubbed it in it's just what your skin needs. I mostly use it on my legs either after shaving or when I feel like they need a pick me up before I head on out.
But let's talk about this product, It is a much bigger bottle for £3 which is a good saving
but the smell is less than appealing, I am not saying it's off putting just does not make me want to put more on for the scent. As in working product I have not seen any difference to the previous one I bought even with the cocoa added.
Time will tell and I shall tell you no doubt

Love yousss

Are pre-made cupcakes cheating?

Is it cheating or just fun?!?
My partner found a image on the internet of minion cupcakes off the film 'Dispicable Me'.
So me being obsessed with minions we popped off to the supermarket and bought some pre-made cupcakes, white icing and chocolate.
Are pre-made cupcakes cheating?
With the homemade pizzas in the oven we got stuck in, me making the icing sugar and after me advising him what he has to do (because he is a bit of a drip) he melted the choccy in the microwave.
Surely you?! can tell which side of the cakes are who's?
He had the far right which he did slightly decorate then in the end just coated mostly full of chocolate. Where as mine were a few attempts of minions and then a few where the chocolate just dripped everywhere.
But it was fun making them, me laughing at him and me making a mess on my side with the sugar.

Any fun baking this weekend? Link me the pictures?

Addiction in the work place

So I have been in my new work for over a month now and this is some pictures and a little
description of what I get up to.
This is my new desk, with my new computer because I was lucky, it did annoy most of the work force though that they had been there years, I been there five minutes and had a new one!
EEkk!, So on this boring journey I have gained exerience and confidence with my telephone manner.
Re-learnt Microsoft Excel, I am qualified in the program but I hated it with a passion and now I use it every single working day and sometimes on weekends now to organize my house bills. So was a good skill to build on it turns out
Smarties!!!! digging in my top draw little boxes and packets of sweets lay that I forgot I had shoved in. So on friday I had fun with the mini smarties and muched away happily.
Not Forgetting my Addiction thanks to my (early christmas prezzie) from my partner I got to download the minion rush game on my new Iphone4s. Good Gosh I am
Addicted to that game.

Got Sneak peaks of your work space and what keeps you amused in work?
Send or Link them to me!

Oooodles of doodles

Whilst in work boredom can sometimes even stress you out too, so doodling helps me let out some of that stress as my mind shuts of (well apart from when the phone rings) and lets my imagination take over. My work desk diary is covered by a mixture of red, black and blue text with odd doodles long side and often I would come in the next morning to find who ever came in the office after me has added text or more doodles to mine (a.k.a I drew a sheep, next morning there was the words baa in a speech bubble)
So here today you will see one part of today's boredom buster

Sudays Laziness & New Home?!?!

So Here I am sat in a grey Minnie Mouse Hoodie and Sweat pants/ trackie bottoms (which no one will ever see me wear but my family, well apart from anyone out in the street at 6 A.M when I put the bins out on a friday Morn).
The two images shown are new to my huge collection of notebooks, but this one is special because it is my 'Our first home' Book where I shall be writing notes, rememberalls, idea's, colour swatches and prices. So this is How it looks to start with as I have only pencil-ed in the words 'Our First Home' as I want this book to be special and something to keep for years to come.
I have many notebooks and a developing scrapbook so this is going to be a mix of the two.

Do you have any scrapbooks or notebooks that can help give me inspiration then Link them to me, I will be so happy to see them and shall check out your page if you link me to that too.

Glittering Golden.... and red and! Green AND! Silver

Glittering Golden.... and red and! Green AND! Silver

The bottle is nothing much to talk about the shape is unusual so it does define the brand in that sense but as for the labels they are the (some say classic, some say bog standard) black font see through background label. The colours of the glittery nail varnish are very bold and look very well packed together for a full coating on the nail but after putting on two coats on a nude nail I found I can still see my 'nude' nail colour underneath and in some patches are barely covered by glitter.
Saying that though it does give a more subtle look for the office, just adding a touch of girly glam to the routinely typing on the keyboard.
When I wear it to go out ( a.k.a. shopping trips/ nights out) I defiantly aim to place a base coat colour underneath the silver, so it gives my nails more of a polished layered effect.
I have survived through the night time jobs and a day in the office with so far no chips or smudges. The test of my like/dislike for the nail polish will be when I go to remove it, if it easily removes it gets a giant thumbs up from me and if not well. It will just be added to my vast growing collection of nail polish's that I dislike to use for that reason.

City Sale Shopping Haul

These Pretty Silver bird drop earrings are suprisingly light, I bought them from NewLook
in the sale for only £1. In the 'Roam' Collection

This was an impulse buy I very much love lace!
When I found this in a small boutique shop I urm-ed and ahh-ed for awhile but my other half said why not it's only £5 in the sale,

Another set of dangly earrings from Newlook in the 'Roam' collection and you can see these also were £1.
These also are very light but I do not very recommend them as they have turned my ears green very quickly.

This is my ultimate favourite find and save!
I have wanted a light trench coat for years but all the ones I have lusted over they have been of vast expense. Just window browsing I found this Lipsy Light pink trench coat in the sale from £79 to £20, so praying it would still be there on pay day it was and I got it! Yey! pride of place in my wardrobe.
