Rock Pools in Summer Shades

I had so much fun with these pictures, it was actually warm enough for me to wear a dress for a change without having my un-wanted friend of hedgehog legs popping up (Yey!).
The scenery was so beautiful and the lighting very helpful to us, Curtis also managed to get some bird in flying motion pictures (which he's very happy with).
Next step was editing, now me and Photoshop have a love hate relationship. I think, I love it (when it works) and Photoshop hates me so decides to play up. It was a tough decision what to do with these photographs to keep them original or to desaturate them (gray-scale). So I came up with the best of both I loved how the desaturation made my skin softer and the overall image softer but hated losing the vivid colour of the sea and rock pools. There the idea to merge the two together was born and I personally think it worked rather well?

Do you agree? What do you think of these Photo's?
